Problem - R sound

Intonation patterns:
Upward intonation: commas (,) and question mark (?)
Downward intonation: periods (.)
The rest is generally monotone:
You will put emphasis/an increase in volume when you are emphasizing/contrasting something or two things in your sentence

It’s RED, not BLUE

It was rainy, and the wind was strong.
It was rainy … the wind was strong…
“Middle of story” intonation
In the middle of a longer discourse, you list a couple of factors
Two peaks - one goes high, the second one goes high but less than the first

I think my last flu was like.. Three years ago?
At the part where you’re thinking, cut off the sound instead of extending it
In these types of sentences, first part is pretty flat. The second part is also flat but higher-pitched because you’re thinking and unsure
(generally thinking and uncertainty will lead to upward or high pitch)

Every trip is a flight.
Has already flown

Today they’re running into problems, because they can’t come back.
When you are expressing something you disagree with/feel negatively about, you can go high intonation

The way I see it, it’s impossible to stop it.

I didn’t do it, but I spoke with people who did.

In Europe it’s Christmas and New Year’s, but in Israel it’s very different.
